Water Abstractions

Recently I've gotten really into photographing water. I am fascinated by the disapearance of the line between water and land and its whimsical effect on space.

My Latest Paintings

My painting is based on the application of paint to the canvas, my emotions, and nature. My current series depicts close-ups of different parts of trees while exploring tension, color, and texture.

Recent Photography

I enjoy going out into nature to take photographs. My inspiration is drawn from trees, especially rotting and dying branches, trunks, and logs. I like creating traditional compositions through color, line, space, form, and contrast through close-ups of these trees.
