100 Paintings, 100 Days

Painting one painting per day for 100 days straight. Seems challenging? Some days it was, most it wasn't; instead it felt enjoyable. As an abstract artist one painting a day isn't enough to express what I feel. This Process did yield interesting results however. The paintings were completed either in the woods or at home after walking. I allowed myself to work once on the painting, then left them completed, I call this Process my "One and Done". There is a real raw energy to these paintings. One can sense frustration, rapid strokes, a burst of energy within the subject matter, and a real passion for the woods, especially Boynton Park where the majority of these work were painted or inspired from.
